Phyllis Rappi
Office Manager
Phyllis Rappi has served as Carey Contracting’s office manager since 1993.
She enjoys that her work changes from day to day – as she handles a variety of office responsibilities including payroll and accounting duties, tax duties, general office duties (such as ordering office supplies), placing advertisements to fill openings, and much more. Phyllis also enjoys the company of the Carey’s dog, Penny, who can often be found sleeping under her desk.
Phyllis enjoys her job flexibility. “Mike [Carey] always puts family first,” she said, noting that she is allowed to adjust her work schedule to accommodate sick children or high school hockey or football games.
She has been married for 25 years and has two children. She enjoys family activities such as camping and attending the kids’ games.
